Happy National Pi Day!

March 13, 2015

I'm a geek. I love math. So it is with great excitement that we approach March 14, aka National Pi Day.

Pi, which we learned about in geometry, is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It is a beloved irrational and transcendental number, which continues infinitely without repetition or pattern. It is commonly truncated to the simple 3.14. Hence, National Pi Day on 3.14.

Because our awesome Flashflight Light-Up Flying Discs are circular, and our equally saucy Meteorlight LED Light-Up Flying Balls are spherical, our super-smart product designer had to do all sorts of calculations using pi when designing them. Without pi, our products would not be as perfectly circular or spherical as they are, which would be just terrible. So we need to celebrate.

To honor pi and National Pi Day, we are offering a limited-time discount on Flashflight.com's most popular circular and spherical objects. From now until March 15, enter the discount code "happypiday" at checkout, and viola, you will receive a $3.14 discount on each disc and ball in your cart.

Enjoy!
