Full moon fun in Crested Butte, Colorado.
The Moon is Waxing
Are you ready??
Our faithful moon will be in its full glory on Friday, April 3. This will mark the first full moon since the spring equinox, a time of year we celebrate at Flashflight because it means the nights are getting warmer here in Colorado, and we don't have to bundle up as much when we go out to play.
The week prior to the full moon is referred to as the waxing gibbous phase of the moon (8th grade flashback, middle school was so fun), and in our humble opinions, there is no better time to get out and have some fun. Whether you prefer a game of toss, a bike ride around town, or a raucous fetch session with your pooch, we encourage you to get out there for the sheer joy of it.
For US-bound orders, Flashflight.com is now offering Free Shipping over $50, and very reasonable Flat Rate Shipping on orders up to $50. Most items arrive within 2-4 biz days, so if you order now, you'll have your products in plenty of time for some Full Moon fun.
Happy skies to you,
Your Friends @ Flashflight.com

I'm a geek. I love math. So it is with great excitement that we approach March 14, aka National Pi Day.
Pi, which we learned about in geometry, is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It is a beloved irrational and transcendental number, which continues infinitely without repetition or pattern. It is commonly truncated to the simple 3.14. Hence, National Pi Day on 3.14.
Because our awesome Flashflight Light-Up Flying Discs are circular, and our equally saucy Meteorlight LED Light-Up Flying Balls are spherical, our super-smart product designer had to do all sorts of calculations using pi when designing them. Without pi, our products would not be as perfectly circular or spherical as they are, which would be just terrible. So we need to celebrate.
To honor pi and National Pi Day, we are offering a limited-time discount on Flashflight.com's most popular circular and spherical objects. From now until March 15, enter the discount code "happypiday" at checkout, and viola, you will receive a $3.14 discount on each disc and ball in your cart.
We here at Flashflight Central had one frustrating yet illuminating year 2006. Frustrating because we had to spend an overwhelming amount of time and energy defending our intellectual property in the legal system. Simply put, the battle was too similar to the worldwide issues confronting us every day (the ones we try to temporarily forget by making toys that light up our inner child!).
But the experience has also been illuminating because it helped us continue our commitment to FUN with increased vigor - more high-quality, light-up toys will soon be available.
More importantly, our legal experience allowed us to expand our commitment to include PEACE. We're not big fans of conflict, whether it's on a global scale or a person-to-person scale.
So we're initiating a Peace Campaign. Some of our products are now available with the universal symbol of Peace, the simple symbol that speaks volumes. Listen, and run with it. And if there is something in our message that rings true with you, pass it along, as far as you can.
In addition, with each Peaceful purchase you make, we'll donate a portion of our profits to The Peace Alliance (http://www.thepeacealliance.org/), an historic citizen lobbying effort to create a U.S. Department of Peace.
In the spirit of Fun, Light, and Peace, your friends at Flashflight
Give a little Peace
ps - It was truly a delight to receive an email from an Israeli Flashflight fan this summer, right in the middle of the religious fury that was shaking up his region, requesting more discs. This leads us to believe ...
If there is peace in the heart
there will be peace in the home
If there is peace in the home
there will be peace in the city
If there is peace in the city
there will be peace in the country
If there is peace in the country
there will be peace in the world
pass it on ...
